YB Music, the São Paulo based production company, label and publisher, is one of Brazil’s most influential and enduring independent labels. Since its founding at the turn of the millennium, YB has been a key platform for bold artists, championing diversity, experimentation and the rich intersections of Brazilian music with global trends.
The label has been released exciting, new, innovative Brazilian acts since its creation in 1999. From heritage artists Nação Zumbi and Trio Mocoto to millennial acts such as Anvil FX, the Instituto Collective, Turbo Trio, Saulo Duarte, Luedji Luna and Lurdez da Luz
Alongside these commercial releases, throughout the past 25 years YB has produced multiple music soundtracks for feature films (A Mulher Invisível, Redentor, O Homem do Futuro, Garcia), for TV/VOD series (Alice, O Negócio, 3%, Fast&Five 5, CIS-NY, Magnifica 70), as well as commercials for clients such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Hyundai, Bradesco, Pepsi Co and more.
